A qualitative study of community connectivity in a neighbourhood of North East England before and during COVID-19, Cheetham M, Gorman S, Pollard F, Ward S, Wiseman A, BMJ Open.
Our local residents at Edberts House worked alongside researchers at Newcastle University as part of the Understanding Factors that explain Avoidable hospital admission Inequalities - Research study (UNFAIR) and an animation and blog was launched exploring public views of health inequalities.
Through our role as Social Prescribing Regional Learning Coordinator (North East) for NHS England and NHS Improvement, our team was fundamental in the role out of social prescribing as a mainstream offer in primary care. Watch the video to find out more from our Chief Executive.
